I’m still kind of new to crochet. I saw this neat video on youtube on how to make scroodies. At the time, I didn’t have the confidence, but now that I have a few months of learning under my belt I thought I’d give it a try.

For the most part, this was an extreamly easy project. I watched three different tutorials on youtube to make the parts to this hood.

The Scroodie, easily the easiest part to make. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNLUGByY5BI&feature=relmfu

A tutorial on how to make horns, it was for a skyrim helmet. This is part 7, about where she starts getting into how to make the horns. I got a little confused, but basically took what she said and made it suit my needs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag6mbljQxs4

And finally, the ears. At this point, before I made this hood, I had never subtracted stitches before. So, this was a big help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vK1eW86kKU

My friends love this! They’re going to buy some yarn and I’m making them some too. We’re going to look so cool walking together. hahahaha!

Also, you probably can’t see my necklace very well, but it’s totally bitching and you can get your own here. http://www.etsy.com/shop/EmergentGlassworks?ref=seller_info It’s a glass octopus. GLASS! TINY!!!! and mow they have even tinier ones as earrings, and I want them soooo baaaaaaad!
